Frequently Asked Questions

Please note the following before requesting a book trailer or any other media designed by DigiDoodles Cinematic Media.

· I am based in South Africa.

· ALL international payments outside the borders of South Africa to be done via PAYPAL. No exceptions!

· Local citizens in South Africa can make payments via EFT or PAYPAL.

· I require a 50% deposit before working on your visual media. The rest is payable before I send you the final product and after your requested edits have been done. The final video will be upscaled to HD / 4K and the watermark removed. 

· All video trailers include a maximum of three (3) free edits. If more edits are required, an amount of US$1 / ZAR5.00 will be required per edit.

· You are welcome to send me your images / video footage / music / sound effects to be used in the video trailer but will have to confirm in writing that you’re in possession of the necessary licensing of any copyright material.

· I only use royalty-free, no copyright, free content that I get from several sources online. I do have a few paid subscriptions, but as I’m only doing this as a hobby in my spare time, I’m more focused on using free content and thus rather invest in paid subscriptions for professional editing software to ensure the highest level of quality.

· Unfortunately no refunds, so please be sure to communicate all your video needs right from the start.

· Please be aware that my logo will be added to the start OR end of your video, but can be removed for an additional small fee.

· I will communicate with you frequently throughout the process keeping you up to date on my progress.

· I require at least two to three weeks to complete cinematic trailers that are more than a minute long. Shorter book trailers, video ads, and other media can be completed in as little as two weeks.

· Again, please keep in mind that I have a full-time job and only do this as a hobby over weekends.

· Select the length of the book trailer you’re interested in.

· Select video size.

· State your preferred method of communication (WhatsApp, email, or Facebook Messenger). I will also take calls.

· Send me a link to your book cover and book description and state the genre. Unfortunately I won’t have time to read your book first, as I already have a mountain of books and ARCs to read.

· After you’ve confirmed in writing that you’ve read, understood and agreed to these FAQs and have made the required 50% deposit payment, we will discuss your ideas step by step and in detail as to what you have in mind for your perfect book trailer.

· Select the type of media you’re interested in (small business promo ads, video invitations, photo memory videos, etc.).

· Select video size.

· State your preferred method of communication (WhatsApp, email, or Facebook Messenger). I will also take calls.

· After you’ve confirmed in writing that you’ve read, understood and agreed to these FAQs and have made the required 50% deposit payment, we will discuss your ideas step by step as to what you have in mind for your video trailer.
